Javier Alonso López (Madrid, 1967) is an outstanding Semitic philologist, biblist and historian. He has a wide range of essays, and has published several books on biblical history and ancient Israel, such as Herod the Great;  Solomon, between reality and myth  and The Last Week of Jesus . The five faces of God is his last essay, in addition to the youth books The history of the world in 25 stories and The history of Spain in 25 stories .
