Miguel Lorente Acosta (Almeria, 1962) is a doctor in Medicine, a forensic doctor and a professor at the Universidad de Granada. He has been a pioneer in Europein the study of domestic violence and has published books on the subject that have already become classics, such as Mi marido me pega lo normal or El rompecabezas. He has received numerous prizes and distinctions, and he was Governmental Delegate for domestic violence for the Ministry of Equality between 2008 and 2012. He is also the author of forensic studies about Jesus –42 días and La mano del predicador–. His most recent books deal with the postmacho condition of the contemporary society, with titles such as Tú haz la comida, que yo cuelgo los cuadros.
