Patxi Irurzun (Pamplona, 1969) is author, among others, of the short-stories book La tristeza de las tiendas de pelucas (finalist of the 2013 Setenil Award and the 2014 Euskadi Award); the novels Atrapados en el paraíso, about his trip at Payatas (Manila) garbage dump (Literary Creation Award issued by Navarra Government) and  ¡Oh, Janis, mi dulce y sucia Janis!; the diary  Dios nunca reza; or  Mi papá me mima, a humoristic chronicle about paternity. He has also written children and young-readers literature, is a regular contributor in newspapers and has been awarded in different literary contests, such as the I Travel Short-Story Award of El País-Aguilar.
