Quim Marqués (Barcelona, 1964) studied at the Escuela de Cocina y Hostelería de Barcelona and learned the trade of chef at restaurants like El Racó d’en Freixa, El Bulli, La Cuisinedes Anges and Casa Fermín. He was the Spanish finalist of the Bocuse d’Or championship and he was in the world final of the Pierre Taitinger. He and his family currently run the restaurants El Suquet de l’Almirall, located in the emblematic Barceloneta neighborhood, and Lola, located in Las Arenas (Barcelona).
